Every time you buy participating products and scan your Piggly Wiggly Rewards Card at Piggly Wiggly, you earn Pig Points. Pig Points + gives you big discounts on fuel at participating gas stations. As your Pig Points + balance increases, so will your discount on fuel or in-store redemptions. Just look for products with a Pig Points shelf tag. Since Piggly Wiggly believes in rewarding our customers, you can use your Piggly Wiggly Rewards Card every time you shop to qualify for bonus rewards such as Birthday Bonus that add up to even more Pig Points! It’s that simple.

Track Points

It is now even easier to keep track of your Pig Points! Check your Pig Points + account right from your shopthepig.com profile! You will also be able to find your balance, and see how much you can save on fuel, by looking on your receipt or display screen at the pump. For every 300 Pig Points you earn, you’ll receive one cent off per gallon of fuel on your next fill-up (up to a maximum of 15 gallons in a single transaction). The more points you earn, the more you save!

Redeem Points At the Pump

Redeeming your Pig Points is the easiest part of all. You can find participating fuel locations on your Piggly Wiggly receipt, at shopthepig.com or anywhere you see the “Pig Points Accepted Here” or "Pig Points + Accepted Here" signs. Just follow these easy steps to redeem your points. Mr Pig at the Gas pumps with his card.

Step 1: Follow the directions on the pump. Insert, enter or scan your Rewards Card at the pump. This must be done first or you will NOT be able to redeem Pig Points. If the discount does not display you MUST see the attendant first or you cannot apply the discount.

Step 2: Answer the questions on the pump screen. Answer the questions on the pump screen and confirm the fuel discount has been given before moving onto Step 3.

Step 3: Choose your fuel grade, method of payment and pump your gas!

Redeem Pig Points On Grocery Items

  1. Save on groceries when you buy participating Pig Points products. Look for the blue Pig Points tags in-store, scan your Rewards Card at Piggly Wiggly and save!
  2. Your Pig Points are automatically tracked for you every time you use your Rewards Card. Look on your Pig Points Statement or, confirm your points by signing into your shopthepig.com account, to see how many points you have earned.
  3. To redeem your Pig Points, use your Piggly Wiggly Rewards Card on participating grocery items listed in our weekly flyer or, tagged in-store and save.
  4. Look for participating Pig Points + grocery redemption items at your local Piggly Wiggly or in the Weekly Flyer.

 

Pig Points FAQ’s

Will my Pig Points expire?

Points expire 90 days after the last use of your Rewards Card.

How many Pig Points can I earn?

You can earn Pig Points every time you visit Piggly Wiggly and scan your Rewards Card. Just look for the Pig Points + shelf tags to find participating items. You can even find out how much you will save, the amount is right on the tag!
Pig Point + balances are capped at a maximum of 200,000 points. As you redeem points for fuel and other discounts, additional points can continue to be added up to the maximum of 200,000 points.

How many gallons of fuel is my Pig Points discount good for?

Your discount is valid for up to 15 gallons in a single transaction!

How do I calculate the value of my Pig Points?

For every 300 Pig Points you accumulate, you earn a one- cent-per-gallon discount. Don't worry, we'll do the math for you! Go to My Rewards on your account to see how much off per gallon you have.

What If I have more points than required for the 1¢ per gallon discount?

Your Piggly Wiggly Pig Points + account will only be deducted the required amount to receive up to 15 gallons of gas for 1¢ per gallon. 
If you have accrued more points than required to receive your fuel for 1¢ per gallon, the point balance remaining will stay 
in your pig point account for future use. 
For example: if you have earned $3.50 off per gallon and gas is $2.50 a gallon,
a $1.00 per gallon discount will remain on your card after you fill up, for use in-store or future fill ups!

Where can I find participating gas station locations?

Participating locations include Pig Stop gas stations or other participating fuel stations where the "Pig Points or Pig Points + Accepted Here" sign is displayed. You can also find locations on your Piggly Wiggly receipt, on our website, or by stopping at the service counter.
