This position is responsible for being the first line contact for individuals requesting assistance from Piggly Wiggly Midwest’s Help Desk. This position requires the ability to provide consistent, personable, professional customer service in response to requests for Piggly Wiggly Midwest Help Desk assistance. The person filling this position is not expected to directly answer all Help Desk questions asked by Piggly Wiggly Midwest customers, vendors or personnel. If an immediate resolution cannot be provided, this individual will use approved software and the telephone to expedite the issue to the proper person for resolution.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Resolve common Help Desk problems related to general use of Piggly Wiggly Midwest supported computer hardware and software.
• Gather detailed information on Help Desk calls that may be first perceived as common use problems.
• Use approved Help Desk software to forward problems to the most appropriate individual for Help Desk calls that require advanced support.
• Be available as a direct contact to provide a quick response to general Help Desk problems pertaining to Piggly Wiggly Midwest office network workstations.
• Perform activities on the help desk software to maintain current and correct information pertinent to help desk calls.
• Route calls to appropriate source if not a help desk call.
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and people skills are required to provide consistent, personable, professional phone responses to a varied group of Piggly Wiggly Midwest customers, vendors and personnel
• Knowledge of PC based business software (i.e. spreadsheets, word processing.)
• Knowledge of general computer hardware operations (i.e. dot matrix, thermal, laser printers, monitors, floppy and hard drives, modems, computer mouse, tape drives, etc.)
• General knowledge Windows operating systems.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent follow through on work assignments.
• Knowledge of general office procedures. (Acquired knowledge of Piggly Wiggly Midwest department interfaces with technologies is desired.)
• Aptitude to grasp a general understanding of terminology and technical systems relationships.

JOB TITLE: Inspector/Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Produce
STATUS/SHIFT: Full time - 2nd Shift

REQUIREMENTS
The candidate will assure total quality control of perishable product received at and distributed from the Piggly Wiggly Midwest warehouse on a daily basis, for excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Supervise product receiving, rotation and storage operations
• Inspect all perishable product
• Maintain top quality cooler product
• Weigh produce accurately
• Inspect banana ripening twice daily to assure 2 ½ - color stage to stores
• Monitor conditions of coolers
• Handle handbills, special orders
• Monitor assembly of outgoing perishable loads
• Monitor facility cleanliness and maintenance projects to ensure perishable protection
• Work with dispatchers, shippers, and brokers as needed
• Communicate with retail stores as needed, including to resolve complaints
• Cooperate with other supervisors on workload concerns

Primary Objective of Position
Maintain item information in the Business Systems that effectively facilitates Merchandising, Procurement, Pricing and Retail Shelf Space business processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Merchandising, Procurement and Pricing systems relative to item attributes.
• Effectively maintain the integrity of item information and relational data.

REQUIREMENTS
The Retail Pricing Analyst will be responsible to assist and support the execution of strategies and initiatives at both wholesale and retail. Disseminates information in accordance with pricing guidelines, reviews/recommends prices for categories, and maintains sensitive item list.
