Gluten Free Living

At piggly wiggly we understand the challenges in maintaining a gluten free lifestyle. Having Celiac myself, I know ingredients can be hard to find, items that seem safe can harbor hidden gluten, and some gluten free items are as edible as cardboard. Therefore, in an effort to make your shopping experience (and eating!) more enjoyable, the search to find the best gluten free foods began. Manufacturers from across the country submitted hundreds of samples. Some were okay, some were awful, and a select few were so great I had to double check the label to make sure it really was gluten free! These items I enjoy so much myself, I wanted to share them with you. Hopefully it will take some of the uncertainty out of wondering if a new item is worth trying. If you know of a new item, or would like to submit feedback, I would be happy to hear from you. Simply email me at
